Join us for our October Community of Practice session. This is a chance to make connections and develop peer support and learning opportunities around key themes of community-led research. We will reflect on sector-wide issues individually and collectively, with the opportunity to share and hear examples of research from across Scotland, and have open discussions about topics that come up on the day.
With both World Mental Health Day (10 Oct) and the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival (19 Oct to 8 Nov) taking place this month, our next session will focus on how arts and culture support rural mental health and wellbeing. Join us to discuss what’s working well, where more support is needed and reflect on the role that community-led and creative research and knowledge play in this process. We will be joined by Catherine Findlay who is currently leading on the development of a national Arts and Mental Health Framework and members will have an opportunity to feed in their perspectives to this. As always, everyone is welcome to join, share their experiences, and highlight relevant projects, resources, or opportunities.
