Conversation Station with the Garelochhead Support Trust

Conversation stations are informal online presentations where a community group can share their own experience of community-led research amongst peers.

For this session, join the Garelochhead Support Trust and partner researchers to explore how peer research is uncovering the real needs of veterans in their community and how this can be used to shape meaningful change in healthcare policy and delivery.

Hear directly from veteran peer researchers about their experiences and how the project, funded by the Ideas Fund and the National Centre for Remote and Rural Health and Care, is exploring how peer research can translate into action.

Everyone is welcome - especially other veteran services and healthcare service providers who want to share, learn and connect.

Discussion includes Morevain Martin and Veteran Peer Researchers David and Marion (Garelochhead Support Trust), Professor Sarah-Anne Munoz (National Centre for Remote and Rural Health and Care) Kari Magee (Practitioner Researcher, NHS Highland), Stacey Meechan (Practitioner Researcher, NHS Dumfries and Galloway) and Lewis Hou (Science Ceilidh, The Ideas Fund).

You can find out more about their experiences here
